The jasmine is picked before dawn, while the flowers still hold the night's oils. By the time the sun clears the hills above Grasse, the day's harvest is already on its way to the stills — and the maison's perfumers are already arguing, pleasantly, about proportions.

Aurum began as a question: what does gold smell like? Not the metal — the light. The answer took three years, two hundred trials and one abandoned holiday. It is built on amber and orris, lifted with the morning's jasmine, and finished with a note the perfumers refuse to name.

Every bottle is filled, stoppered and sealed by hand in Grasse. The vessel is refillable by design — beauty, the maison believes, should not be disposable. Bring an empty bottle to any boutique and it returns to you full.
